Jane Mason is a retired FBI Special Agent with 28 years of distinguished service as a criminal investigator. Throughout her career, she specialized in complex federal investigations, including environmental crimes, mortgage and bank fraud, antitrust violations, and fraud against the government.

As a nationally recognized expert interviewer, Jane conducted hundreds of high-profile investigations and served as a forensic evidence specialist for 18 years. Her work spanned local, national, and international crime scenes—including a pivotal role in the aftermath of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, where she spent nine months recovering evidence and human remains.

Jane led landmark cases such as the prosecution of a Missouri PCB disposal company for illegal hazardous waste practices and the execution of a 25-day search warrant involving buried asbestos in a residential neighborhood.

Since her retirement from the FBI in 2014, Jane has continued her mission to uncover the truth through her investigative firm, The Mason Projects LLC. Known for her tenacity, discretion, and results-driven approach, she brings unparalleled experience and dedication to every case—large or small. Meet Marco Stefanacci,

Intelligence Analyst

Marco Stefanacci is an Intelligence Analyst with The Mason Projects LLC where he collaborates closely with retired FBI Special Agent Jane Mason to support a wide range of investigations. His work is instrumental in uncovering the critical facts that lead to meaningful outcomes for clients—including crime victims, fraud targets, and those seeking clarity in complex matters.

Marco specializes in open-source intelligence (OSINT), digital profiling, and deep background research. His investigative contributions range from social media analysis and online tracking to the application of advanced tools and technologies that support case development.

A native of Clifton, New Jersey, Marco is currently pursuing a degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, training to become a professional pilot. He holds both an FAA pilot license and FAA Part 107 drone certification, blending aviation discipline with investigative precision.

Beyond his academic and flight training, Marco brings hands-on expertise in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, 3D printing, computer hardware, and drone operations. His deep interest in the intersection of tech and investigations drives his work at The Mason Projects, where he explores how evolving digital tools can be both leveraged and defended against in the pursuit of truth.
